Choosing a web hosting is not only about cheap price, in fact the primary consideration should not be the cheap price and unrealistic facilities. This article explains why your primary concern should not be on the cheap price aspect. We must aware that cheap price or cheap package is actually a result of today’s competition. With so many providers out there, it creates a race to win customers as much as they can, as fast as they can, because they are also racing with time.
As the main focus of these days competition is mostly about pricing, providers then offer the lowest price possible, and for that, some facilities are definitely cut and limited, their marketing might say unlimited services but the fact you will find later won’t be the same. Because it is not possible to run unlimited services with a very limited price, we do not have to be an expert in economics to understand about this situation.
People need to keep in mind that to run a webhosting service it involves costs, just like other businesses. More costs are required to support more facilities, not to mention unlimited services! When a web hosting provider offers unlimited facilities, it means this company needs to make available lots of spaces, traffics, mailing lists, FTP, other technical services and customer services.
The big question on Price vs. Quality in this case is how a cheap price package can cover all the cost and at the same time still manages to maintain the business to run smoothly, the answer is it’s impossible! Cost is a logical consequence to deliver a reliable service, and unlimited service certainly will need lots more costs. Therefore, review your choices again, do not focus on cheap price only, and beware of extremely cheap price that offers unlimited service, as you will usually end up with despair, from no access to your domain control panel to down time, and poor customer services who do not response you!
