Tangerang (ANTARA News) - Customs officers at Jakarta`s Soekarno-Hstta international airport on Friday detained two Taiwanese nationals for trying to smuggle in a quantity of crystal methamphetamine.
The two Taiwanese, identified by their initials as KTL (23) and HYL (26), arrived on a China Airlines flight from Hong Kong carrying 6.9 kilograms of crystal metamphitamine, Banten customs and excises office chief Bachtiar said.
They were arrested at 8 on Friday evening after they had disembarked from China Airlines flight CI-679.
Soekarno-Hatta airport customs officers were still questioning the two Taiwanese drug smugglers.
